Female Recreational Football
Our new football session is open for girls and ladies over the age of 12 to learn all about football, the benefits that football can provide as well as signposting players to the correct pathway should they want to progress. Thanks to funding from the National League Trust we can showcase the rise in female football here at Slough Town FC without any barriers standing in our way.
Whether you have played before, have not kicked a ball in your life then it does not matter this is the chance to give football ago without pressure or expectation. The session is held in a safe space , where ability and mobility does not prevent you joining in, it is about trying something, meeting people and having fun.

The sessions are run by 2 of our female coaches , who also happen to play for our ladies first team , and both believe that female football has so much more to offer. Sessions run on a Monday evening here at Slough Town and take place between 7-8pm. The key element of these training activities are that as you progress, we have a pathway to continue your journey in football as the club has female teams from the age of 12 -80 including our junior sides , U18’s girls side, first team and walking football opportunities available all in one community venue.
There is no doubt since the success of the Lionesses that female football has seen a huge rise in players and spectators and our aim is to help improve both the experience and on and off the field .
